QUANTUM NANOPHOTONICS LABORATORY

Our group’s research focuses on the mesoscopic investigation of novel phenomena, particularly, optical, electric and mechanical properties of low dimensional nanoscale materials. These materials include carbon nanotubes, 2-dimensional van der Waals materials, and single molecules. The unique properties of these low dimensional systems are understood by considering enhanced quantum effects. The use of modern state-of-the-art characterization techniques as well as nanoscale device fabrication, material synthesis and manipulation are essential parts of this research.
