Polaritons in Low Dimensional Materials
Polaritons are quasiparticles resulting from strong coupling of electromagnetic waves with collective oscillations such as conduction electrons, phonons, and excitons, as well as their hybrids.
Our researches focus on polaritons supported by low dimensional materials, such as surface plamson polariton in graphene, phonon polaritons in h-BN, exciton polaritons in TMDs etc. We also ultize those polaritons as tools for nano-imaging, molecule sensing and polaritonic devices.
