Wu Jing is a Professor at the School of Electronic Science & Engineering, Southeast University in China. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Physics from Zhejiang University in 2010 and completed his Ph.D. in Physics at the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2015. Before joining Southeast University in 2024, he served as Senior Scientist II, Group Leader of Nano Electronic and Thermal Transport (NETT) group at the Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE) under A*STAR, and held an Adjunct Assistant Professorship in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at NUS. His research interests focus on addressing thermal management issues in modern electronics and advancing technical aspects for high-performance electronic devices. His main research directions include exotic transport dynamics and scattering physics in low-dimensional quantum materials, such as charge transport, heat/phonon transport, and thermoelectric transport. He has published more than 80 papers in peer-reviewed journals, such as Nature, Nature Electronics, Nature Materials, Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Photonics, Nature Communications, PNAS, Advanced Materials, ACS Nano, Nano Letters etc. He has h-index of 38 with citations more than 6700. For his research works, he was awarded Nanoscale Emerging Investigators 2023 by Royal Society of Chemistry. In terms of academic services, he also serves as a reviewer for many scientific journals such as Science, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Nano Letters, ACS Nano, and Physical Review Applied etc, and as a grant reviewer for the EURIZON Fellowship 2023.
