Display systems assessment and Visual perception. The research investigates problems in evaluation image quality of different display systems and tries to set up the model matched with visual perception as good as possible. 3D display technology and evaluation. The research consists of 3D image quality and visual comfort assessment for different 3D technologies. Lighting quality evaluation. The research of lighting quality is mainly focused on the glare evaluation and the perception of temporal artefacts of LEDs. Simulation and diagnoses of plasma discharge. The mechanism of plasma discharge is investigated by means of both simulation and measurement. Recent Research Project: Investigation of the relation between photoelectric characteristics of displays and visual recognition process of image quality The effect of overhead glare on visual discomfort with the LED office lighting luminaires The perception of temporal artefacts of LEDs Optimization of the property of protective layer material in plasma display panel | | Biographical Information |
