Brief Introduction of Discipline

School of Electronic Science and Engineering, which was one of China's earliest disciplines concerning electronics, was established in Nov. 1961. School of Electronic Science and Engineering has the key disciplines of national “Project 211" and “Program 985", and is the key school of Southeast University(SEU) that integrates teaching, scientific research and technology development . The Electronic Science&Technology discipline of Southeast University is National first-level key discipline, it ranks 2nd in National Discipline Assessment of the CDGDC of Ministry of Education in 2012. The discipline consists of 3 second-level key discipline: 1. Physical Electronics (National key discipline);   2. Microelectronics & Solid State Electronics (National key discipline);   3. Circuits and Systems (National key discipline).

Training Objectives

The objectives are to provide a joint training program based on both side advantages in Electronic Science&Technology area. Graduates will have the knowledge and skills to engage in scientific researc or ,technological development. Students will develop deep theoretical and practical knowledge in specific areas so that they will have the intellectual and conceptual foundation to play leading roles in theElectronic Science&Technology industry. Generally, the students are expected to graduate in 3 years.
