Associate Professor Shan Weiwei with two doctorial students attended A-SSCC conference

Associate Professor Shan Weiwei with two doctorial students Shang Xinchao and Dai Wentao from School of Electronic Science and Engineering attended A-SSCC conference during November 5-8, 2017, in Korea. Two papers were accepted by the conference. One of them was selected to compete in the SDC (Student Design Contest), which was the only paper from Mainland China. In the live demo session, paper ‘A 0.44V-1.1V 9-Transistor Transition-Detector and Half-Path Error Detection Technique for Low Power Applications’ from our school won the Distinguished Design Award after fierce reply and review. After that, Shan Weiwei and Dai Wentao gave academic reports respectively. The following figures are sessions of live demo and Shang Xinchao receiving the award.

A-SSCC is short for Asian Solid-State Circuits Conference, which is one of the four international conferences supported by IEEE SSCS. It is led by Asian countries and represents the highest level of international conferences in the field of IC design. Around 400 experts and scholars from more than 50 countries and regions in Asia, Europe and America attended the conference this year.

In addition, Shang Xinchao won the Student Travel Grant Award in the conference.
